It was a while since I took this one so I almost deleted it because it looked kind of crappy at default in Lightroom. I don't know if I just snapped randomly or if this is what I actually saw. But this is what it became.
These kinds of million programme buildings from the 60's get a bad rep and maybe rightly so. But these so called "star houses" look really beautiful from where I live. Also up close.
It's pretty amazing the amount of dynamic range you can squeeze out of a modern camera, at least this Sony a7rIII. The sun is so bright and the trees are os dark and yet there is detail there to be had. It's hard to strike a balance between a natural look and getting the detail out of the shadows. I hope I'm succeeding.
